Drink & Draw No. 2/Anais Blondet

Each month our Drink & Draw sessions will be inspired by the work of a different artist, influencing the styling of the live model and objects around her. Wet and dry materials included but artists are welcome to bring their own, and BYOB!

Open to artists of any skill level; young artists ages 6+ are welcome to attend with a parent

Anais Blondet Medina is a Peruvian multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker living and working in New York City. Her work is inspired by the power and mysticism of menstrual blood, nightmare interpretation, and pre-Columbian Peruvian history. Magical realism, absurdist dialogue, disjointed sound effects, and the use of music as a narrative tool are the staples of her cinematic language. Learn more about her work here.
