Drink & Draw No. 4/Elena Delgado

Each month our Drink & Draw sessions will be inspired by the work of a different artist, influencing the styling of the live model and objects around her. Wet and dry materials included but artists are welcome to bring their own, and BYOB!

Open to artists of any skill level; young artists ages 6+ are welcome to attend with a parent

Elena Delgado is a New York City aerialist and a fixture in the underground circus and innovative burlesque communities. Her choreography is informed by her background in art and theater, and she has performed all over the city– from corporate events to underground parties and nightlife venues such as The Slipper Room and The Box NYC. Her original aerial and puppet work has been seen in off-Broadway productions by the Rachel Klein ensemble, Eric Schmallenberger, Trixie Little, and The Constellation Moving Company, to name a few. She also wrote, produced and directed The Works of Atlas.K: an Immersive Aerial Artfight!, a benefit for Planned Parenthood. 

Elena is also a talented costumed designer and passionate aerial instructor.  Her warm and engaging teaching style, performance experience, and Pilates certification allow her students to achieve proper technique and a refined, individual style in a safe and fun environment. She believes that everyone is a circus star in the making!
